In January 2024, we are set to launch our Accessible Recreation Program, aiming to raise $50,000. This will provide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to participate in a variety of recreational activities in the community. For nearly four years, these individuals have had little to no community participation due to the health risks related to COVID, and since then, labor shortages in direct care providers and increased program expenses have caused many organizations to pause or discontinue their programs.

Mandy’s Farm is committed to covering transportation and staff expenses, ensuring that 100% of your donation goes directly toward funding recreational activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Whether it is a trip to the movies, a yoga session, a drumming class, or visits to the zoo or museum - the possibilities are endless.

With your help, this program promises to be a source of joy and enrichment for the 200 adults we serve annually, fostering inclusive community involvement and empowering individuals with disabilities to lead more fulfilling lives.
